By Train or Bus

If you come by train through the  Matabiau train station or coach station,  the bus / tube will take you to the   Capitole. It is the second stop after the SNCF station, direction Basso Cambo. There are two tube lines in Toulouse. You can buy tube tickets at the entrance of the tube station, a single tube ticket costs 1.60€ .

By Car

If you come by car, take the western ring road, exit Ponts Jumeaux-Amidonniers  (n°30). But parking is a real headache in the city centre. Please note that parking in the city center can be challenging. The university car park is reserved for university staff and faculty members. However, a paid underground parking facility (Parking Arnaud Bernard) is available just a 5-minute walk from the university.

By Plane

If you come by plane, you will fly over the city centre before landing. If you are lucky, you will realize why Toulouse has been called the pink city. At the airport, shuttles will transfer you to the city centre. The nearest bus stop is Compans Caffarelli. Young people can enjoy reduced transfer tickets (about 3 € from airport to city centre).

Getting around the campus

• Metro & Tramway: Operated by Tisséo, the metro (2 lines) and tramway (2 lines) provide fast and reliable connections across the city, including direct access to the airport and main train stations. Ask the driver to drop you rue des Puits Creusés, in front of the car park entrance of Toulouse Capitole University.
• Taxis & VTC Services: Taxis are available throughout the city, and VTC services like Uber operate in Toulouse, offering flexible transport options.
• VéloToulouse: The city’s bike-sharing service offers an eco-friendly way to explore Toulouse, with numerous stations located throughout the city center.
